Diamonds
are selected for there structural strength, number of points, degree of
sharpness and lack of detrimental flaws. The proper selection of size
and quality appropriate for a given application requires qualified judgement.
Diamond is selected in accordance with quality and size. The question
of using a very high or medium quality depends on the qualification of
staff available and the machine and the working condition. Experience
and knowledge are needed for proper selection.
After a lot of researches and studies SUNRAJ INDUSTRIES, have found a wide range of sophisticated methods of dressers, which guarantee the quality of the product and increase productivity. These dressers are versatile for a variety of application. SUNRAJ INDUSTRIES have earned a name for superior quality, excellent performance, longer life and prompt after service. In addition to the products given in the description, SUNRAJ INDUSTRIES can provide you with tools and wheels according to your requirement. |

Electroplated
diamond tools have distinct advantages over other types of tools which
ensure their widespread applications in a variety of industries. These
electroplated diamond tools contain the highest diamond concentration
available to provide fast, cool and efficient cutting of ceramics and
fibreglass. Using the electroplating techniques of tool manufacture,
large tools such as centreless grinding wheels are relatively easy economical
to produce.
|
Some of the other advantages are : |
1) It is very easy to produce complicated profiles.
2) Very thin diamond layers can be deposited.
3) These tools have a very free cutting action advantageous in matching materials, that tends to load the tool such as glass fibre reinforced plastics. |
Two kinds of diamonds are used in these tools :- 1) Natural 2) Synthetic |

Diamond
Lapping Compounds are increasingly used in the surface finishing of a
wide variety of hard materials. This is because these lapping compounds
offer the advantages of fast stock removal and uniformity impart a very
high degree of surface finish and it is most economical for fine grinding,
lapping and polishing. These are extensively used in the manufacture of
precision components, plastic moulds, tungsten carbide dies, cemented
carbide cutting tools, optical lenses, and even in polishing of gems.
|
SUNRAJ
INDUSTRIES diamond lapping compounds are available in various grades
manufactured from pure accurately graded diamond powder which is then
evenly distributed in a chemical base to ensure quick cutting. Based on
what has to be polished, specific grade of lapping compound is used. Each
grade of compound is of a different colour which allows immediate identification
for the job involved. We are giving a table below that would help you
to select the grades. Besides SRI experts and expertise is always available
to solve any of your surface finishing problems to improve the quality
of work and ofcourse, to make it more economical for you.
Care should be taken not to stock the lapping compounds for a long length of time as, over time, it deteriorates and becomes hard. Care should be taken to ensure that the compounds don't get contaminated wt other substances. The paste should be used as sparingly as possible on the surface and then subsequently to maintain lubrication. |

Circular Segmented Saws
|
The
experience and drive SUNRAJ INDUSTRIES posses, provides the customer
with a wide range of diamond circular saws with superior performance in
the machining of natural and artificial stones. SUNRAJ INDUSTRIES diamond
circular saws are highly efficient and quite economical in cutting hard
material whatever might be the various in properties such as hardness
density and grain texture. Thus there is naturally a broad property range
of saws required to obtain optimum performance in such a wide field of
action.
Diamond saws vary in their properties over a wide range according to the saw designs, diamond grit size, diamond concentration and bonding material all of which are vary clearly related to saw performance. Bonding materials is one of the key factors in determining saw performance. In general, a more protrusion of diamonds resulting in improved cutting performance but shorter saw life. Conversely, a lower wear rate results in longer saw service life. While placing an order for SUNRAJ INDUSTRIES diamond circular saw, detailed information is requested on the following items: 1) Saw diameter and bore hole size. 2) Material to be cut. Description in details (preferably with small sample pieces) 3) Machine |
a) Machine builder and model
b) Type (saw or workpiece travel) c) Motor power d) Spindle speed |
4) Cutting conditions
|
a) Depth of cut
b) Traverse rate c) Peripheral speed (or R.P.M.) |

Diamond
Cutting Tools are making in roads into newer areas, other than only for
cutting and polishing of very hard materials. Diamond Tools provide the
very high precision dimensional, superior surface finish and very fine
shapes and sizes that are required in jewellery and watches.
These cutting tools profiles are available in sizes varying from 1mm. to 8mm., However any other specific sizes required by the customers can be custom-made. |
Applications :
1) Jewellery such as exclusive wedding rings, bangles, flexible bracelets and marquises besides medals and monograms, lipstick hulls, lighters, cufflinks, etc. 2) In watches the diamond tools are used for turning watch cases, dials, etc. |

These
tool blanks consist of a layer of polycrystalline man-made diamond on
a cemented tungsten carbide substrate, formed into an integral blank by
high pressure and high temperature process. The blanks thus combine the
uniform hardness and abrasion resistance of diamond with the toughness
of cemented tungsten carbide in all directions.
|
Advantages :
1) Shock resistance. PCD tools are shock resistances as it consists of randomly placed diamond particles along with carbide substrate. 2) Due to its randomly placed diamond particles it is more constant in water. 3) PCD tools are available in wide range in shapes and sizes. 4) PCD tools are flexible, as it is a conductor. 5) PCD tools costs considerably low than the cost of natural diamond stones. Applications : 1) Used in wide range of machining operations such as milling, grooving, turning, facing and boring. 2) PCD tools are used for machining all non-ferrous materials. |
